Broad Ripple Park is a 62-acre park on the northeast side of Indianapolis, bordering the White River. It offers a wide variety of programs and activities for all ages, and welcomes an estimated 150,000 visitors annually. The Family Center schedules scores of classes throughout the year in dance, safety, sports, fitness, arts, crafts, health, self-defense and other subjects for all age groups.

Post History. Broad Ripple Post was first chartered October 18, 1920 as Hazelbaker Post #312. The number 312 was not in the normal order and was requested because one of the members and founding fathers, Walter Fuller, was a member of Masonic Lodge #312(no longer in existence) and made a special request that number be used.
